Description
A page from our storybook. You know the tale: the little girl in the red hood, the basket, the forest, the big bad wolf. On our mug, though, things are a little different: Little Red and the Wolf have gone for a walk together through a meadow of red flowers. She smiles, he acts tough, with a nose as long as a rainy day, but there’s a white heart on his chest. It’s not clear who tamed whom. It’s a kind of love-hate relationship: they argue, they make up and they can’t do without each other.
On the other side it says “Scufița Roșie” (Little Red Riding Hood in Romanian), inside a wreath of twigs with red berries, like the cover of a storybook.
The mug is hand-painted by Alexandra and Cristina in our workshop in Sibiu, so every Little Red and every Wolf turns out a little different.
For those who grew up with fairy tales and have no plans to stop, for couples who tease each other all the time, for little girls with a temper and for the “wolves” who pretend to be bad but are actually fluffy.

Care
The design is made with non-toxic ceramic paint and fixed with heat, so it holds up to washing. The mugs can go in the dishwasher at 30 °C or on the ECO programme. To keep the designs lovely for years, we recommend washing the mug by hand, in lukewarm water and without an abrasive sponge. We don’t recommend using the mug in the microwave.
