Gingerbread Lullula, hand-painted mug

The lark in our logo is called Lullula. That’s her Latin name too: Lullula arborea, the woodlark. For Christmas she decided to turn into gingerbread: an iced wing, white sugar dots and a little heart placed exactly where it belongs. Does she smell of cinnamon? No. But she looks as if she did.

On the other side sits a smaller lark with a heart on her chest, who seems to be looking for the big one. Or maybe she’s just spotted the biscuits.

It’s a smaller mug, 225 ml, with a curled handle: just right for an evening tea, a hot chocolate or a milky coffee sipped slowly at the window, with the snow on the outside.

The mug is hand-painted by Alexandra and Cristina in our workshop in Sibiu, so every lark turns out a little different. It’s the most “Lullula” gift there is: we’ve basically put our logo under your tree, only in a mug.

The design is made with non-toxic ceramic paint and fixed with heat, so it holds up to washing. The mugs can go in the dishwasher at 30 °C or on the ECO programme. To keep the designs lovely for years, we recommend washing the mug by hand, in lukewarm water and without an abrasive sponge. We don’t recommend using the mug in the microwave.
