Description
A warm hug, all winter long… The “Baked Apple” scarf is a deep, vivid red, like an apple straight out of the oven on Christmas Eve, with a stripe of dusty pink and a little white, like icing sugar sprinkled on top. It has rich red fringes at the ends.
Alexandra hand-knitted it in seed stitch (“rice grain” stitch), which makes a small, grainy texture, like the skin of a caramelised apple. The yarn is Baby Velvet micro polyester, soft and velvety, so the scarf keeps you warm without itching.
Length 2.14 m, width 25 cm. Long enough to wrap twice and wide enough to cover your ears on windy days.
Care:
- gentle wash at 40°C;
- dry flat;
- do not iron;
- do not tumble dry.
It’s one of a kind: there is only one “Baked Apple” and we won’t make another just like it. Whoever takes it gets the smell of cinnamon too (we only imagine that part, but we like to think it comes with it).
